It's Time to Pay Attention: Autonomous AI Agents are Here
AutoGPTs are possibly the most powerful tools we've seen in AI, and they're exploding onto the scene.
Hey! It’s Jeremy.
AutoGPTs are possibly the most powerful tools we've seen in AI, and they're exploding onto the scene. As of today, they are about one month old.
As a business person, you need to hear this…
It’s time for you to start paying attention.
Here’s what you need to know:
✅ Business Vertical: ALL BUSINESS OPERATIONS!
✅ AI Tools: AutoGPTs
✅ Examples & Use Cases:
- Building an app within seconds
- Creating a task list that does itself
- Automating your entire sales prospecting process
- Many more… (quick reference list graphic included)
💼 Business Vertical: All Business Operations
Seriously.
AutoGPTs have the ability to change every business vertical. Whatever business you’re in, running or growing, AutoGPTs can immediately be applied.
I’ve spent many hours going through AutoGPT examples, curating a list for you that is specifically tailored to business use cases.
🔧 Defining the AutoGPT Tools
AutoGPTs - What the heck are they?
Good question. ChatGPT is a toy compared to AutoGPTs.
These tools have the ability to perform tasks for you. All an AutoGPT needs is a set of goals for a task to be completed. It then generates the prompts for each step, and uses ChatGPT-4 to accomplish each step.
In simpler terms, AutoGPTs can leverage the most powerful AI we have to automatically do things for you online.
I will list some tools for you below.
But before you leave to try them out, it’ll be helpful for you to see some possible ways to use AutoGPTs in your business:
✔️ Examples / Use Cases:
#1 - Creating an App within seconds:
Coding is incredibly easy for ChatGPT. It’s already better than 90% of developers, and certainly 1000% faster. Here’s a guy who gave his idea (in plain text) to an AutoGPT tool, and it spit out a working app:
autogpt was trying to create an app for me, recognized I don't have Node, googled how to install Node, found a stackoverflow article with link, downloaded it, extracted it, and then spawned the server for me.
My contribution? I watched.

#2 - Creating a task list that does itself:
It’s called the “Do Anything Machine”, created by Garrett Scott (link in caption). You can create individual to-do items, give it access to the software tools it needs, and then run those tasks on a schedule or manually.
You can text a number, send an email, or watch for triggers in other software to automate these items. It’s Zapier on AI steroids:
Over the weekend I finished the to-do list that does itself.
Everytime you add a task, a GPT-4 agent is spawned to complete it. It already has the context it needs on you and your company, and has access to your apps.

#3 - Automating your entire sales prospecting process:
Prospecting is one of the most important things any business can do. It’s also one of the most neglected areas of business. Finding a sales system that works is one thing. Perfecting and automating your sales system is where the big players pull away from the rest of the pack.
What if you took your best sales men and women, and turned their processes into AI “agents” that do the prospecting for you?
Turns out, someone already did it.
Probably nothing 🤯

Bonus Examples of AutoGPTs:
Run AutoGPT on your phone.
Tell it to build a website for you.
Have it do market research for your podcast.
Build an intern to input and pull data from tables.
Create a startup business with a budget of only $100.
This guy gave an AutoGPT access to his bank, financial statements, credit report and email. Crazy, right? Well, it already made him $200 😂
Wondering what areas of business you could apply AutoGPTs to? This ought to help you a bit. In short, everything:
🎁 Wrapping Up
Autonomous AI agents are here.
I don’t think you should give it access to your entire life and business, ok?
The automation of tasks is the lowest-hanging fruit for AI to start making an impact in your business.
So when I say “it’s time to start paying attention,” I’m being direct on purpose to make a point: You need to start implementing AI to automate things. Start now. Don’t wait another week.
Now, they’re not perfect. AutoGPTs sometimes need humans to help keep them on track. Right now, anyway.
But AutoGPTs are just the first wave. And they’re a big step toward AGI. The next wave will be even bigger and more impactful. The sooner you start to learn about these new kinds of tools, the better for you personally and professionally.
Don’t be afraid of it.
Leverage it.
⚡️ Three Easy Ways to Try AutoGPTs:
AgentGPT (LINK) - Create your own AI agents. You can name them, train them, and deploy them to do whatever task you need.
GoalGPT (LINK) - A goal-oriented AutoGPT. Simply state your goal and let your “Intelligent Alter Ego” handle the rest.
GodMode (LINK) - Another popular browser-based AutoGPT. This tool allows you to edit each individual task and make your automations better over time.
Hey, can I ask you for your help?
As a business owner or leader, you typically know a few other business people. I’d appreciate it if you shared our newsletter with them so we can help them leverage AI in their business, as well. That’s it for this week! See you next week with another vertical for the AI revolution.
As always…
Never Stop Learning.
