The Business Impact of ChatGPT

If you're ready to start learning more about AI - this thread is your starting point.

The Business Impact of ChatGPT-4.

Hey. It’s Jeremy.

I hope you had a great week!

You know who else had a great week? Artificial Intelligence.

But don’t take my word for it - here’s a tweet from Robert Scoble, a guy that’s been in the tech space for four decades:

This week, AI took a giant leap forward. Check out list from @heyBarsee (great Twitter follow by the way). While it’s amazing to see the speed of innovation, I’m also very aware that you, a business man or business woman that has your head down working hard all week, just don’t have the time to keep up with all of this. Heck, I’m lucky enough to have time to follow AI closely, and I’m overwhelmed.

So this week, I’m taking the time to look at the biggest innovation of the week … and the AI tool that started the wave just a few weeks back … ChatGPT.

🔧 The Tool.

What is ChatGPT?

Chances are you’ve heard about it already. If not, in simple terms ChatGPT is like a computer program that can chat with you and provide answers to your questions in a conversational way. Think of it as an assistant that can help you find information, provide insights, or just have a conversation.

Now imagine that this program is trained on millions and millions of inputs from the best and brightest resources in history. And then imagine that it can leverage that data to give you real insights into your business, within 3 seconds. Now you’re getting it.

ChatGPT - no hype here - is possibly the greatest leap in technology that we’ve seen in our lifetime. It is the “internet” times 10. Maybe times 100, we don’t actually know yet 😬

Up until this last week, the public was using GhatGPT-3 (version 3 that is). On Tuesday, GhatGPT-4 was released.

Yeah, it’s kind of a big deal.

A visual showing the amount of data used to train each GPT version.

📝 The Application.

Brass Tacks - you don’t follow this newsletter for cool infographics, right?

Our job is to show you what the tool can do and then give insights into how that can transform your day to day operations. So let’s get into it.

Here are the capabilities of ChatGPT-4:

  • It can generate human-like responses to any text prompts.

  • It can answer a wide range of questions on a variety of topics, from business strategy to marketing to tech.

  • It can automate your customer service tasks, and you can train it to answer customers exactly the way you would.

  • It can assist in content creation for your website, your socials and other types of marketing materials.

  • It can eliminate the time it takes to research tasks like market research or gathering information on competitors. Literally lightning fast.

  • It’s available 24/7, works on weekends, doesn’t take sick days and is completely free. 👀

💻️ Your Turn to Give It a Try.

I could quite literally give you hundreds of examples here to try for yourself. But I don’t have time to link them up, and you don’t have time to read them all. And let’s be real … you wouldn’t want to take the time either.

But you have to get your hands dirty with AI.

You have to try the tools, or you will be left in the dust. That’s the truth. And the great thing is, ChatGPT-4 is one of easiest tools to use, even if you’re a beginner and completely new.

If you can type text into a field, you can leverage the most powerful AI publicly available. Think about that! It’s incredible.

So here’s what we should do. I’m going to give you one prompt to try and you do your best to actually give it a go. Fair?

  • Step 1 - Sign up for an account.
Go to OpenAI’s website (right here) and click “Sign Up”. It’s free.

  • Step 2 - Find the “Prompt” field.
You’ll see a page with some boxes on the screen. At the bottom of the screen is a single text field - it couldn’t be more simple. That field is where you type your “prompts” (commands, questions, etc) into.

  • Step 3 - The Prompt That Will Blow Your Mind
In the field, copy & paste the prompt below. I’ve made it for you. Just replace the bracket parts with the apps, software or tech that you use in your business and hit “send” or “enter”.

I want you to act as an integration and operations specialist.

I use the following tools in my business operations: [enter tools, separated by commas]

Please review that list of tools and do the following in this order:

1. Recommend tools and softwares that could be eliminated due to cross over in functionality.

2. Create a comprehensive list of function integrations between each of the tools.

3. Make step by step recommendations to streamline integrations listed in the order that makes the most logical sense for ease of execution.

If you do the exercise above, 2 things will happen:

1) You will be amazed. This the power of AI. It can give you business insights that translate to the bottom line, within seconds.

2) You’re going to get ideas on how your business can save money. You’re welcome 😉

🎁 Wrapping Up.

This may be the most important email I’ve written to date. ChatGPT-4 is the most powerful, and the most relevant AI tool I’ve ever used, and I genuinely hope you’ll give it a try.

The next time you think of a question, or even something that you are wondering about your business … try out ChatGPT. Again, you’ll be amazed.

I personally now use this tool every single day in my line of work. It has removed an entire technology stack in my budget and I’m learning more about it every day.

And oh, by the way, ChatGPT-5 release date is already being rumored 😂

If you’re wanting to get started trying out some of this “AI stuff”, this is the starting point, the gun already went off and the race to leverage it is already on. The good news is, you’re here reading this, ready to jump out of the blocks.

And your competition? They’re probably still stretching.

As always…
Never stop learning.

Jeremy
